Neither party can just stick with the status the status quo. If you divorce, it becomes clear that one of you has to make adjustments or else your marriage could end. You can be a good person with good intentions. However, it's not easy to make real changes. Sometimes, outside help is required. It isn't always possible for everyone to attain it or keep it. Some spouses are not willing to wait patiently for the change to happen. They begin to feel frustrated and feel that regardless of how long they put off, the outcome will never change to their preferences. Therefore, it is an unnecessary sit around waiting.
