We've all witnessed it. We all have known couples who everyone envied. They were the couple who seemed to have everything. They were the couple you knew they were going to grow old together. They made the ideal match. But they didn't. They split and the husband walked away. Families and friends made bets on the time it would take until the husband returned, begging his wife to forgive him. This didn't occur. The man didn't show up, much to everyone's surprise. Not ever. They ended up getting divorced. The whole thing has left everyone in dismay. What is the reason why some men don't come back when the marriage always seemed solid, while other marriages appear to be struggling to last? Below are my speculations.

The reality isn't always as it appear. It's unlikely that the "perfect" couple exists. It's impossible to be perfect all the times. The appearances of people are not the reality. Couples may not appear perfect or fight but there is honesty and investment. It is possible that they appear perfect and never fight but they do so because they ignore or minimize the crucial issues that can later come back to bite.

The Couple Get Further and more apart in the Actual Separation. But because of my own experiences, I'm convinced that it is important. A lot of couples get separated over time and drift away. You'd like to talk or even call. You do. But when you go to the bathroom, and realize that long has been passed since your last call, and so you are worried about the awkwardness. After that, things get worse.

While the couple might initially appear to be somewhat disaffected, but still showing a good amount of potential, their relationship is deteriorating until either or both believes that there's not enough left. They eventually give up. Many people seek to "shake up" their relationships or "scare" their partner into changing. The idea is that neither spouse can make it appear as if everything is okay. Neither party can just stick with the status that is in place. After separation, it becomes pretty obvious that there needs to be adjustments or your marriage could be over. It is possible to do this with positive intentions. But it isn't easy to change things in a real way. Sometimes it will require outside help. It is not always easy or willing to bring it about or maintain it. Some spouses aren't willing to wait and be patient for it to occur. They get dissatisfied and start believing that, regardless of the length of time they sit around, nothing is going to be able to change their minds and it's an unnecessary waste of time waiting.
