We've all been there. We've all known couples who all were jealous of. They were the ones that appeared to most perfect couple. They were the couple you could tell would stay together for a lengthy time. They made the ideal couple. They were the perfect couple, until they separated. They were back together, and the husband went out. Family and friends bet how long it would take for the husband to return to his wife, asking them to forget their mistake. This did not happen. Much to everyone's surprise, he didn't return. Not ever. The couple eventually broke up. Now everyone is left in a state of confusion. Why do some men never come back when the marriage always seemed to be solid, but other marriages that seem to be struggling to endure? In the next post I'll share a few of my thoughts.

Things Aren't Always What They Look Like: First things first. It is unlikely that the "perfect" couple exists. There isn't a ideal person. Reality is often not as simple as they appear. Even though a couple could appear to be combative or rough, at least they have honesty and an investment. Although a couple may appear to be perfect and not fight however, they're concealing some serious issues that could end up to bite them.

The Couple Grows Further and More Disparate During the Actual Separation: I am aware that I can sometimes seem like a broken record harping on the importance of having an ongoing communication plan in the trial phase or a divorce. However, it is something I've learned from personal experience. Many couples drift apart and lose touch with their partners. This is something that I often see. You are trying to contact or even talk. You do. However, you glance around and you find that so much time has passed since the last call and you are worried about the awkwardness. From there, things just get more difficult.

The couple may initially appear discordant, but they still have lots of potential. However, the relationship begins to deteriorate and both or one of them feels they don't have enough. They decide to end their relationship. A lot of people get divorced in the hope of "shaking up their marriage" or "scaring their spouse to make changes. The other party can't pretend that things have changed. The other party can't just be content with the status quo. It becomes obvious once you've separated that you have to change things or your marriage may end. People can go into this with great intentions. However, true change isn't simple. Sometimes, outside assistance is needed. It is not always easy or willing to make it happen. Some people aren't ready to sit and wait for changes to take place. They begin to feel frustrated and feel that regardless of how long they put off, the outcome will never change to their taste. Therefore, it is unproductive to sit and be waiting.
