The Couple Grows Further and Further Apart During The Actual Separation: I am aware that I may seem like a broken record talking about the importance of creating an ongoing communication plan in an unplanned separation or divorce. My personal experience has convinced me that this is vital. I've also observed lots of couples who gradually losing contact and then drift away from one another. You want to communicate or call. It's true. When you look around, you notice that a lot of time has gone by since the last phone call. So you worry about being awkward. The situation only gets worse from this point on.

While the couple appears to be in a somewhat discordant relationship in the beginning but it is soon apparent that they're not compatible. They decide to end their relationship. A lot of people break up in the hope of "shaking up" their marriages or of "scaring” their spouse into healing. Both parties need to pretend everything is fine. It is impossible for any one of the parties to keep the status that is in place. Separation can be a sign that something needs to be changed. There are many good intentions and enter this with big plans. Real change can be hard. Sometimes, outside assistance is needed. Not everyone is capable or will to get it done. Some spouses do not want to wait and be patient to see it occur. They get annoyed and believe that no matter how much they wait, it won't change to their liking. Therefore, it is an unnecessary sit around waiting.
